The history of sports in India dates back to the Vedic era. The guru-shishya relationship has always been an integral part of India sport from time immemorial. Indian sports reached a peak of excellence when Buddism held sway here. Games & sports are not only important for success in studio but it is important for success in every walks of our life. Games & sports include all outdoor and indoor games and also athletics . In ancient Greece they formed the principal part of education in the advanced countries of the present day also they are a regular feature of school and college curricular . A healthy nation is always a wealthy nation. Therefore it's necessary to put emphasis on sports. One can think of healthy mind only in a healthy body both physical and mental well being are the requisites of great achievements in man's life. Sports have their great utility. Sports are the sources of recreation. They provide relief and a sense of relaxation in a life of monotony of routine marked by miseries hardship and hurdles . They initial or infuse a sportive spirit to take up the heavy burger of life in a lighter vein and not to think of life Mahavidyalaya Lakhani provides all the essential facilities and games regarding sports and culture. We have large playground with 2.56 acres of land . We have running track of 200 mts. We have single bar, double bars to encourage students. We have gymnasium and sport club also. Our students always participated in university as well as inter collegiate and district level sports games our college well equipped with kabaddi, Khokho and badmidan ground. Our student Ku. Yogita Singanjude won 3 Gold Consequently in university athletics in University games Ku. Jyoti Bante won Gold Medal as well as silver medal in long jump. This is a glorious moment for our college.
